ÅAC Microtec announces new CFO and board members

ÅAC Microtec AB has announced a number of new appointments intended to boost the company’s success in winning major sales and development contracts for its miniaturized satellite and space solutions. The appointments coincide with the arrival of Mikael Andersson as CEO in August 2014.

CFO Mats Thideman: Mats has considerable experience in the financial control of growing industrial organizations, including publicly-listed companies as well as venture capital-owned enterprises.

Board of Directors

Rolf Hallencreutz, Chairman of the Board: Rolf’s special skills encompass entrepreneurial business development, strategic partnering and accelerating company growth via increased sales of high-value products as well as innovative development services.

Per Aniansson, Board Member: Per brings with him extensive business management experience from venture capital, management consulting and own entrepreneurial endeavors. He is currently an Investment Director at Fouriertransform AB, a Swedish state-funded venture capital company.

Erik Sterner, Board Member: Erik has eleven years of experience from the venture capital market, most recently as Director at EQT Partners AB, Northern Europe’s leading private equity group. His industrial approach to investment will help ÅAC Microtec pursue a strategy geared towards long-term growth and development.

Other board members include Björn Åstrand, Bruce Acker, Johan Bäcke and Olof Stjernberg.
