The nanoRTU is a compact low-power remote terminal unit for satellites, UAVs and other embedded control applications. I
t features a 32-bit openRISC compatible processor operating at 16 MHz or lower with various interfaces such as I2C, TTL UART, SPI, GPIOs and analog I/Os, making it well suited for controlling various sensors and subsystems.
The nanoRTU has a very small footprint (32×32 mm) and mostly soldered interfaces which allows for integration also where the available room is very limited. It is supplied with a manual describing setup, programming and debugging as well as the different interfaces.
The nanoRTU is made to control a unit or subsystem, offloading the central on-board computer.
